Digitally enhanced customized lenses are designed and created using the most advanced technology optimising the optical correction around the requirements of the lens wearer. The design takes into account the habits of the user, such as how they move their head or eyes. This is very important to how the lens will work in front of the eye.

In this way these lenses are able to deliver a natural head and eye position, improving the possible effects of “swim” distortion that can be experienced in all lenses. This is particularly helpful to patients who have high prescriptions, low vision or no vision one in one eye (monocular patients).

Advanced equipment is used to take precise measurements recording the patient’s prescription, visual habits and the dimensions of the spectacle frame chosen which has great influence on what the patient will see once the spectacles are made. These additional measurements and technological monitoring enhance the performance of the lens correction vastly, available in Single vision and Varifocal lenses.

As different sporting activities have requirements which need different lenses to suit each particular sport improving visual contrast and perception for the wearer. For example Ski goggles benefit from orange contrast lenses that emphasise depth and definition improving visibility.

We can provide prescription corrective lenses for a wide variety of sports such as Swimming, Golf, Shooting, Cycling, and Impact sports and some prescriptions can be fitted into curved frames.
